We will be producing the 313 series 8000 series after it was transferred to the Shizuoka area.
The 313 series 8000 series was manufactured for the "Central Liner" rapid train, which used a numbered ticket system and previously ran between Nagoya and Nakatsugawa on the Chuo Main Line.
The silver front end and extensive orange coloring give it a very different impression from other 313 series trains, and the interior also features premium facilities unique to paid trains, such as convertible cross seats with wide seat pitch, box seats at the end of the cars with large tables, and partitions next to the doors.
After being transferred to Shizuoka Depot, it became a hot topic as it was mainly used as a local train on the Shizuoka section of the Tokaido Main Line, as well as on the Gotemba Line and Minobu Line.
You can enjoy the 313 series 8000 series with destinations that were not previously seen, such as "Shizuoka" and "Hamamatsu". The coupler at the front has been changed to a KATO close-coupled coupler (without hook) + electric coupler (2-stage), updating the appearance to be more realistic.
