G-SHOCK, which has been constantly striving for new challenges and strength since its launch in 1983, will release a collaboration model to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Ishinomaki-based fishing group "FISHERMAN JAPAN."
This collaboration was made possible through the production of the "Reborn-Art Festival," a comprehensive arts festival of art, music, and food held in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.
This is a special collaboration model between G-SHOCK, which resonates with the activities of FISHERMAN JAPAN, which is always challenging itself to create new value, and the Reborn-Art Festival, which produced it to elevate that spirit to art culture. The G-SHOCK is based on the motif of a large fishing flag designed by Masayoshi Furuhira, the designer who created the FISHERMAN JAPAN logo.
The base model is the DW-5600, which inherits the origins of G-SHOCK.
The face of the watch features a large fishing flag commemorating the 10th anniversary of FISHERMAN JAPAN, the message of FISHERMAN JAPAN, "For the Future Generation," is placed at the base of the lower band, and the logo of the Reborn-Art Festival is engraved on the back cover.
In addition, the LCD screen and band printing are black to accentuate the face design, and combined with the original packaging with a tairyo-bata (fishing flag) motif, this is a special model.
