This is a full metal model from the analog "2100" series, developed based on the concept of the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C.
The screw-back case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, providing a shock-resistant structure that protects the module from impacts when dropped, while aiming for a simple design that eliminates unnecessary elements.
It also inherits the octagonal bezel shape and dimple band design that were also used in the DW-5000C released in 1983.
The GM-B2100AD-5A features a gorgeous copper-colored vapor deposition dial, while the GM-B2100SD-1A features a black dial with silver indexes and hour and minute hands, making for a highly visible dial.

The stainless steel bezel is formed into a three-dimensional shape through a time-consuming process of forging, cutting, and polishing, and the top surface is finished with a circular hairline pattern and the slope is mirror polished for a beautiful finish.
A fine resin cushioning material is placed between the bezel and the case, making the metal exterior shock-resistant.
The dial is intricately shaped using micro-machining technology at the Casio Yamagata factory, and is finished with a high-quality texture using deposition processing.
The thin, highly functional digital/analog combination module connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® communication to obtain time information and keep accurate time.
It also has practical features such as Tough Solar and high-brightness double LED lights.
