PLATZ 1/300 Maritime Self-Defense Force flying boat US-2/US-1 (set of 2). 1/300 scale versions of the US-2 prototype, which was developed for the purpose of maritime accidents and rescue operations from remote islands, and first flew in 2004, and the US-1, which has been modified from the PS-1 and has been used for a long time as a rescue flying boat. I made it into a kit. The main body is a plastic kit made by F-toys. It is a good kit that is easy to assemble and has a solid form and detail. Markings are reproduced with newly created decals made by Cartograf. US-2 can be manufactured by selecting either the 1st prototype with a red line on a white background or the 2nd prototype with a blue line on a white background. US-1 reproduces the familiar appearance with orange painted on the model and tail.
