Reproduce the memorable Kiha 58 air-conditioned car!
Among the 400 series trains used for long formations, this model is based on the mid-term 549 to 654 series cars, which have been modified to be air-conditioned and have a cooler installed on the roof.
Licensed for commercialization by JR East, approved by JR Central, licensed for commercialization by JR West, approved by JR Shikoku, approved by JR Kyushu, high grade (HG) specification.
Among the 400 series for long trains, this vehicle is modeled after the mid-term 549-654 series, and reproduces the appearance of a vehicle with a cooler installed on the roof after being modified for air conditioning.
The taillights are internally fitted, and reproduce the appearance of a small window at the bottom of the passenger door.
The jumper plug and hose at the front of the leading car are reproduced as separate parts.
The typhoon is a selectable separate part, and comes with four types: shutter type, slit type, rotating type, and Niigata type.
The light-shielding unit for the head and taillights is a small unit adopted for the Kiha 56-200 type, which improves the see-through feeling around the front.
Uses a blue color sheet.
The head and taillights and front display are equipped with a constant lighting board and have an ON-OFF switch.
The head and taillights and front display are illuminated by white LEDs.
The headlights use a color prism to light up in a color close to incandescent light.
The front display is interchangeable and comes with printed parts for "express, rapid, local (navy blue) and (white)".
