Akagi, which was used during the Midway Island invasion, has anti-aircraft identification markings on its deck, and comes with an etched part!

The aircraft carrier Akagi was one of the Japanese Navy's representative aircraft carriers.
It was originally built as the second ship of the Amagi-class battlecruiser, but was converted into an aircraft carrier due to the Washington Naval Treaty, and was completed in 1927.Originally it had a multi-deck exterior, but was remodeled at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal to a full-deck style.
During the Pacific War, it served as one of the ships of the Nagumo Task Force and participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Indian Ocean Campaign.
During the operation to capture Midway Island in June 1942, the ship was hit by an attack by American forces, caught fire, and was destroyed by torpedoes from an allied destroyer.

The molding colors are 8 colors: warship color, linoleum color, wooden deck color, black, ship bottom color, gold, gray, and dark green.

The hull is divided into left and right sections, separated at the waterline.

Molded in a special grey colour that mimics the warship colours used at the Kure Naval Arsenal.

The side of the ship is divided into left and right halves, and the portholes and external electrical wiring are depicted with vivid, three-dimensional sculptures.

Sharply sculpted details of fairleads and other fittings and sculptures are realistically reproduced.

The elevator features a delicate carving of an eye ring.

The drainage gutters around the flight deck, windbreak fences, and truss structure on the back are all recreated in detail.

The bow anchor deck is molded as a single piece with all the fittings, and the anchor chains and other parts are reproduced in a three-dimensional form.

The crane rail under the stern flight deck is a separate part, with attention paid to detail even in areas that are hard to see.

The struts and auxiliary struts supporting the flight deck are reproduced with delicate parts.

The tip of the chimney is a separate part molded in black and unpainted to recreate the different colors, and the depth of the exhaust port is also recreated.

The bridge is molded all around using a slide mold for a realistic look.

The 20cm cannons mounted on both sides of the stern are beautifully sculpted to even show the wrinkles in the canvas.
