The number of assembly parts is 233. The aircraft carrier "Shinano" was originally laid down at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal in 1939 as the third ship of the Yamato-class battleships.

Due to the loss of the main aircraft carriers in the Battle of Midway in 1942, the Shinano, which was under construction, was redesigned as an aircraft carrier.

After the defeat in the Battle of the Marianas in 1944, Yokosuka was placed within range of air raids, so construction was rushed for the ship to be sent to Kure, and it was completed as an aircraft carrier in November.

In the same month, on her maiden voyage to Kure, she was torpedoed by a US submarine and sunk 100 km off the coast of Shionomisaki, the largest aircraft carrier in the Japanese Navy's history, lost in just 10 days.

The product is based on the model at the time of its completion in November 1944, and was made into a three-dimensional model using a completely new design and new mold in 2017.
The aircraft comes in the planned format.

The bottom and hull parts are separated at the waterline, allowing you to create both an offshore model and a full hull model.

In real life, they are sister ships, Yamato and Musashi, but in order to express the differences, the parts are not shared but are unique.

The ship's hull is divided into left and right sections, and the layout around the bow bellmouth has been accurately reproduced.

The anti-submarine camouflage on the sides of the ship is recreated using separate colored plastic parts and a sealant with excellent conformability.

The portholes along the sides of the ship are delicately carved to show the difference between blocked and unblocked shapes.

The bottom of the ship reproduces a bulge shape different from that of Yamato.

The rudder is of two types: a round shape similar to that of the Yamato in the conventional theory, and a round shape similar to that of the Taiho aircraft carrier that has been said in recent years.

The flight deck is made up of two pieces
The concrete deck and outer edges are divided into parts, making them ideal for painting.

The bridge is made as a single part using a slide mold.

All four sides are intricately carved for a realistic appearance.

The funnel shape and the structure around the rear short boat deck are three-dimensionally recreated based on recent documents and research.

Depending on the installation of these parts, you can finish it as a maritime model or a full hull model.
The high-density modeling is realized by detailed engraving on the surfaces that tend to be monotonous, such as the strip pattern on the anti-aircraft gun mount and the monkey ladder on the hangar wall.

Four types of aircraft are included: "Shiden Kai", "Ryusei", "Saiun" and "Ohka".

The Shiden Kai is reproduced in two colors: the standard dark green and the orange color of the prototype Shiden Kai-2.
The Ryusei, Saiun, and Shiden Kai models have one-piece molded legs, and separate, intricately sculpted leg parts are also available.

The retractable radio antenna support is retractable, allowing you to recreate the scene when taking off from the ship.

The included stickers include the anti-submarine camouflage on both sides and the white lines on the flight deck, allowing you to express color without painting.

In addition to the stickers, decals are included for painting purposes, including the flight deck white lines and the Japanese flag of the aircraft on board.

Bonus parts include adhesive "horizontal binoculars" and "machine gun ammunition box", as well as parts for detailed finishing.

The delicate fittings of the ships, which cannot be expressed with injection parts, are reproduced with etching parts.

Etching parts include handrails, ladders, ladders, No. 13 radar, windbreak fences, elevators, cranes, chimney caps, airplane propellers, etc.
