G-Shock continues to evolve in pursuit of toughness, and this model features a newly developed band with high durability.

This is a new series that pursues shock resistance (Resist) in terms of materials (Material).

In collaboration with Mizuno Technics Corporation, carbon fiber, which excels in tensile durability, is inserted into the resin to create a tough band that does not easily break*.

Carbon fiber is inserted not only in the band itself, but also around the spring rod that connects the case, around the wristwatch, and around the ring, giving careful consideration to every detail.

Titanium is used for the metal parts such as the back cover, side buttons, and the wristband.

The back cover is forged for maximum shock resistance and durability.

The use of titanium, with its innovative technology and lightweight properties, has also resulted in the first G-Shock product to weigh less than 50 grams, with a total weight of 47 grams.

The design takes advantage of the texture of carbon fiber for a cool finish.

The surface of the band is made of transparent resin so that the unevenness of the carbon fiber can be seen through it. The luster of the resin makes the black stand out and gives it a sharp appearance.

This is a model with even greater durability, featuring the latest technology in a mold that inherits the design of the first G-Shock.

A patent application for the technique of insert molding carbon fiber into urethane material has been filed jointly with Mizuno Technics Corporation. (As of February 2010)

Multiband 6, which receives standard radio waves from six stations around the world (two in Japan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany) and corrects the time.
