Product introduction with 2 types of markings [Fighter-bomber type that played a part in the aircraft carrier force] In the latter half of World War II, the U.S. Navy's Corsair overwhelmed the Japanese army with its high speed performance and heavy armament.
Among them, the F4U-1D was the first to be officially adopted as a carrier-based aircraft in April 1944.
Features include a semi-bubble canopy with no window frames, a thicker propeller from the base, and a raised cockpit to improve visibility.
In addition to six 12.7mm machine guns in the wings, it is possible to mount up to 2,000 pounds of weapons and drop tanks on two pylons on the underside of the inner wings, and eight rockets on the outer wings.
In February 1945, it became the first American carrier-based aircraft to attack the Japanese mainland, playing a role in the aircraft carrier force.
