[Product introduction]
HASEGAWA 1/72 X-29. The Grumman X-29A ATD (Advanced Technology Demonstrator) was developed as an experimental aircraft to test the practicality of forward-swept wing fighters. A major feature of forward-swept wing aircraft is the forward-angled main wings, which are made using the latest composite materials technology. It also has excellent maneuverability in all speed ranges during melee combat. For this reason, the flight control system uses the same digital fly-by-wire system as the Space Shuttle, making 40 calculations per second to maintain the aircraft's stability and maneuverability.
