HASEGAWA 1/72 Kawanishi N1K2-J Local Fighter Shiden Kai. HA6 Shidenkai released in February 2008

@HASEGAWA 1/72 Kawanishi N1K2-J local fighter Shidenkai. Shiden Kai is a Japanese Navy fighter aircraft that was active in World War II and the Pacific War. Shiden, which was made before Shiden Kai, had the main wing attached to the center of the fuselage (this is called a mid-wing arrangement), which caused problems such as poor visibility and long legs attached to the main wing. Based on this, the fuselage was redesigned and the main wings were placed under the fuselage. (This is called a low wing arrangement) The aircraft with this improved design is called Shiden Kai. Shiden Kai has become a machine with far superior performance compared to Shiden. Shiden Kai was mainly deployed in the 343rd Air Force at the Shikoku Matsuyama base and was active in the air defense of western Japan, centered on the military port of Kure, Hiroshima.
