PIT ROAD 1/700 Maritime Self-Defense Force Rescue Flying Boat US-2 Contains 4 aircraft. ShinMaywa Industries' US-2 was developed as an advanced version of its predecessor, the US-1, so it was called the US-1A Kai at the beginning of its development, but as the budget for the first mass-produced machine became available, the US-2 was adopted. A name has been given. This aircraft has a fly-by-wire system, a pressurized cabin, and various other improvements, resulting in improved advance capability compared to the US-1. Unit deployment began in 2007, and as of 2015, five aircraft have been deployed to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. In addition to private use, there are also plans for various business developments such as exporting overseas.
