Description (971 characters)
This is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
Separate tools, paints, etc. are required.
Product Introduction
1/72 scale plastic model.
The F-4U-1D Corsair is a US Navy/Marine Corps fighter that was active in World War II.
The Corsair was equipped with an air-cooled engine (a method of cooling the engine using air), which was said to be the state-of-the-art engine at the time.
This engine has a strong output, and in order to make full use of this power, the propeller diameter is large at 3.82m.
For this reason, if it was equipped with normal wings, the propeller would hit the ground, so a distinctive inverted gull type main wing (shaped like an inverted seagull's wing) was created.
Thanks to this inverted gull type main wing, it was possible to increase the distance from the ground without making the front landing gear longer.
Safety warning Not applicable
