The horizontal stabilizer is movable using a polycap.
Boarding ladder and refueling probe can be opened or closed.
Mask stickers for canopy coloring are also included.
Comes with color painted drawings and explanatory materials for the actual machine.
Plastic model that requires assembly and painting
Separate tools, paint, etc. are required.
Product introduction 1/48 scale plastic assembly kit of the US Navy F-14A Tomcat, which continued to fly as the world's strongest air defense carrier-based fighter from 1970 until its retirement in 2006.
The F-14A was also exported to Iran, where it is still independently maintained and deployed on the front lines as the main force of air defense.
Three types of air-to-air missiles including AIM-54A Phoenix are included as standard with the kit.
The canopy reproduces the Ω cross section made by a slide mold.
Can be opened or closed even after completion
Two figures are included: a pilot in a seated position and a radar interceptor officer.
Two types of engine nozzles are available: a closed state when cruising, and a fully open state when using the afterburner.
The refueling glove on the right side of the model comes with parts in an expanded state and a stored state, and you can assemble each with or without a cover.
The variable type main wing is inserted into the core spar part after the aircraft is assembled.
Consideration for ease of painting
The left and right main wings are reliably linked by gear meshing.
Two types of "air bags" are available to fill the gaps that occur when the main wings move, and "ceiling panels" on the top of the main wing globes.
Can be replaced even after assembly is complete
There are 3 types of slide marks: 2 types from the popular high-visibility painting era and 1 type from the Iranian Air Force.
Comes with color painted drawings and explanatory materials for the actual machine.
The main painting instructions recommend "86516 AS-16 Light Gray (USAF) and 85027 TS-27 Matte White"
