Product introduction Macchi C.202 Falgole is an Italian Air Force fighter aircraft during World War II. The C.202 Falgole (meaning lightning) was replaced with a German liquid-cooled engine, the Daimler-Benz DB601, to compensate for the lack of capacity of the C.200 Saetta, which was equipped with an air-cooled engine designed by Macchi's chief designer Mario Castoldi.
