Product Introduction This is a 1/350 scale reproduction of the bridge of the battleship Haruna, which has a large air defense command post at the top of the bridge! This product is an unpainted kit that requires assembly and painting.

The battleship Haruna was built at the Kobe Kawasaki Shipyard as the third Kongo-class ship.

Before the Pacific War, the ship was remodeled twice, and during the war, it was used for a wide range of purposes, from direct protection of aircraft carrier task forces to bombarding enemy territory.

In October 1942, together with Kongo, she bombarded the airfield on Guadalcanal Island, and accompanied the task force in the Battle of the Mariana Islands. In October 1944, she served alongside Yamato and Musashi in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

After that, it returned to the mainland and was moored off the coast of Koyo, Etajima after the Kure air raid.

In July, the ship was attacked by a carrier-based aircraft during an air raid and crashed on the bottom, remaining there until the end of the war.

This product uses the mold of the existing 1/350 scale battleship Haruna.

The product is modeled after Operation Sho-Ichigo in October 1944.

The main bridge parts are molded in a grey colour to resemble the colour of the Sasebo Naval Arsenal.

The bridge windows and searchlights are made of clear molded parts.

Comes with a display stand and a sticker showing the ship's name.

The range is reproduced from the top deck to the No. 21 radar at the top, and up to the second turret connected to the shelter deck at the front.

The bridge is assembled by stacking each floor, inserting the three-legged support and rear angle members.

The shelter deck features delicate carvings to represent the wooden deck.

The exhaust vents and ammunition boxes on the wooden deck are made into separate parts, reducing the need for separate painting.

The 25mm machine guns located on all four sides of the bridge are unique to the 1/350 scale model, and the twin/triple guns are made up of four parts, and the elevation angle can be adjusted.

The four windows of the compass bridge, lower lookout post, combat bridge, and observation post are reproduced with clear parts.

Each floor is made of sculpted gratings and linoleum holders.

There are multiple ladders connecting each layer, all of which are separate parts.

The main gun and 4.5 meter rangefinder can be fixed at any angle.

Binocular telescope parts are included to enhance the sense of detail of observation posts and air defense command posts.

The angle of the rangefinder support structure on the back of the bridge is light and the holes are reproduced with carvings, giving it a detailed look.

Includes a decal of the dazzle camouflage applied when the ship was moored offshore in 1945.

The molded parts are gray (Sasebo Naval Arsenal color), transparent, and black for the base parts.

The number of parts is about 330. [Included Contents] ・Runner x 20 ・Assembly Instructions x 1 ・Decal x 1 ・Paper Stickers x 2 *This product is made in Japan.

*This product is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
