The prototype of the 96 warship, the 9th test single battle, made its first flight in 1935, 80 years ago.
It is a successful work designed by Jiro Horikoshi, who later became famous as the chief designer of the "Zero Fighter".
We worked to reduce the weight of the fuselage and adopted sunken tacks to reduce air resistance, aiming to improve speed, and achieved an amazing speed of 450 km/h at the time.
